Achieve a Higher Level of Well-Being

Nutrition

  What is Holistic Nutrition?
The definition of "holistic" refers to the integration of body, mind and spirit. Holistic Nutrition uses food to strive to bring balance to all these aspects of the human body.

The focus is on eating only whole foods in their natural state and avoiding foods which are processed or have been degraded of their nutritional quality.

Everyday healthy eating is a way of life. It is a conscious effort to feed the body in a way that health will be regained and maintained.  The absence of quality nourishment gives way to disease and degeneration of the body and mind.

What Does a Nutritional Consultant Do?
A Nutritional Consultant works to help people manage their health through diet and lifestyle changes. The focus is on educating people on health and how to achieve a higher level of well-being.

Your body is treated as a whole. You are taught how to create an internal and an external environment that encourages good health, enabling you to make your own choices.

When a body is deficient in certain nutrients or has become overloaded with toxins, physical and emotional symptoms begin to appear. This is the body's way of telling us that a change needs to happen and balance needs to be restored.

A Nutritional Consultant recommends that deficiencies be addressed through food, natural supplements and other positive lifestyle changes. Since people do not have the same body chemistry and life demands, the approach to each person is unique.

Holistic Nutritionists do not count calories or make meal plans. They do, however, promote for changes that can be maintained for life. They share with you the principles of healthy nutrition, help you take a look at your current eating patterns and find healthy, practical alternative choices.
